Here at Wise Guys Barber Shop, we don’t just call ourselves a family—we live it. One of our barbers, Kevin Kuznar, has been part of the Wise Guys crew for years, bringing his talent and dedication to the chair every day to build a life for his young son. Now, as he faces a battle with sarcoma cancer, it’s our turn to support him just as he’s always supported his clients and team.

When Kevin had to step away from work to focus on his health, we saw firsthand how hard it hit him and his son. In our line of work, not being behind the chair means no income. And as a single dad, Kevin’s focus is on both his health and his son’s future. We couldn’t stand by and watch a member of our family struggle. So, we took action.

Our team, led by Louie Giunta, kicked off a fundraiser to help cover Kevin’s medical bills and other expenses during this tough time. The response has been amazing. In just one weekend, we raised nearly $2,000—proof of the community’s love and support for Kevin. Louie and the rest of us are committed to pushing forward, rallying our clients and neighbors to keep that momentum going.

As Louie said, “Kev, no matter what, we’ve got your back. Wise Guys is all about family, and Kevin is family. We’ll be here for him through this, no matter where it takes us.”

It’s been heartwarming to see clients step in to help, with some even coming in just to donate the price of a haircut toward Kevin’s recovery. We know it means the world to Kevin, and we’re deeply moved by everyone’s generosity.

At Wise Guys, we’re more than a barbershop—we’re a community. And that community doesn’t let family face hard times alone. We’re standing with Kevin every step of the way, keeping his chair ready and his spirit close to our hearts. If you’d like to support Kevin in his fight, stop by Wise Guys to make a donation or just show some love. Every bit helps, and together, we can make a difference for him and his son.

Thank you to everyone who’s already stepped up. Let’s keep this support going strong. For more details on Kevin’s journey, read the full story on WINK News.
